Apšuciems Fen Nature Reserve

Important wetland and habitat for rare orchid species such as the heath spotted-orchid (Dactylorhiza maculata). The site supports a diversity of species that are restricted to small, undisturbed fens. A place where both European and Latvian specially protected habitat groups can be found. The nature reserve is part of the Natura 2000 network.
