Abragciems Beach has proudly held the Blue Flag status for over 15 years, a recognition of its high water quality, safety standards, and effective environmental management.
The Blue Flag signifies that a bathing site meets 34 international criteria covering four key areas: water quality, environmental management, environmental education, and safety. It is a clear sign to both Latvian residents and international visitors that recreation can be enjoyed in a clean, well-maintained, safe environment.
The coast is shallow and suitable for swimming for all ages.
